Eco-shield™ combines the very latest in bio-block and urinal sleeve technology to create the perfect solution to the problems of urinal smells and blockages.

Exclusive to PHS Washrooms, Eco-shield, through its Nurazyme™ bio-block and unique one-way odour-trap ‘shield’, protects against urinal smells and blockages by breaking down the build-up of uric salt and limescale using natural enzymes and ‘friendly’ bacteria. Nurazyme has been independently tested and proven to contain more active bugs than other urinal sleeve products on the market (Independently tested by International Laboratory Services July 2007).

Eco-shield is an environmentally sound means of dealing with the dual problems of urinal smells and blockages without the need for harmful chemicals, urinal blocks and constant flushing. Eco-shield keeps urinal traps and pipe work clear, and its unique odour-trap ‘shield’ keeps bad odours at bay, ensuring that men's washrooms have a significantly improved washroom environment for staff, visitors and customers. It has a positive environmental impact, with its re-usable sleeve and bio-degradable Nurazyme bio-block ensuring there is no need for chemicals, water use is reduced and maintenance is made easier. Eco-shield has the added positive environmental impact of being re-usable - the unit has been designed so that it only needs replacing at every fourth service interval, therefore reducing impact on landfill sites by 75%.

PHS Washrooms exclusively offers a version of Eco-shield to fit Twyford ‘Spectrum’ urinal bowls. We also offer Micrakleen urinal cleaner which can be used in conjunction with Eco-shield as well as a general all-round washrooms cleaner.
